§. 31. Ein  durch die Ziffer, oder daneben, setzt das Intervall in seinen natürlichen Platz. Es ist, ohne mein Erinnern, bekannt, daß dieses in den Tonarten mit Kreuzen erniedrigt, und in denen mit Been erhöhet:

§31. A through the figure or next to it puts the interval on its diatonic position. It is known without my saying so that this lowers notes in the keys with sharps and raises them in the keys with flats.
