§. 7. Wegen gewisser Vorschläge in der Hauptstimme, bey einem schwachen Vortrage, in langsamer Zeitmaaße, kann bey dem ersten Exempel zu  die Sexte, und bey dem zweyten die Terz wegbleiben. In dem dritten Exempel kann man auch sowohl bey , als auch bey  , die Terz missen, um der Hauptstimme genugsame Freyheit und Stille zu verschaffen, das Durchziehen der langsamen Noten dem Affect gemäs auszudrücken:

On account of certain appoggiaturas in the principal voice, one can, in a thin accompaniment in a slow tempo, omit the sixth in the in the first example below, and the third in the second example. In the third example one can omit the third in both and , in order to give the principal voice sufficient freedom and calmness to express the slow notes in accordance with the affect:
