| §. 4. Der Secundterzaccord wird allezeit vierstimmig genommen, weil er ausdrücklich gesetzt wird, damit kein Intervall verloren gehen soll. Wenn man bey dem Dreyklange, statt der Octave, die Secunde nimmt, so hat man den Secundterzaccord in Händen. | §4. The  chord is always played in four voices, because it is explicitly used in such a way that no interval should be missing. If, in a triad, one takes a second instead of an octave, then one has found the chord.
