| §. 5. In dem irregulären Durchgange kommt dieser Accord als ein vorausgenommener Terzquartenaccord zuweilen mit der großen Secunde (a), und zuweilen mit der kleinen Terz vor (b): | §5. This chord occurs in an irregular [i.e., accented] passing tone as the anticipation of a  chord, sometimes with the major second (a) and sometimes with the minor third (b):
